Meanwhile, Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan expressed deep grief over the death of senior lawyer of Bangladesh Supreme Court and former president of Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association AJ Muhammad Ali.
In a condolence message, he sought forgiveness for the departed soul and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family.
Muhammad Ali was admitted to practice in the High Court in 1980 and in the Appellate Division in 1985. He was appointed Additional Attorney General on 23 October 2001. Appointed as the 12th Attorney General of the country on 30 April 2005.
